Privacy Policy

LiveCast Studio ("we", "us", "the service") is an AI-powered platform for sports commentators. We take your privacy seriously and process personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy describes what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information: Name, email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• Uploaded files: Documents, notes and source material you upload to prepare broadcasts.
• Broadcast data: Content you create in the service, including talking points, notes, cockpit data and broadcast history.
• Usage analytics: Anonymised information about how you use the service, to improve the product.

LiveCast Studio uses Claude from Anthropic as the AI engine to analyse source material and generate talking points, opening lines and other content.

When you use AI features, relevant source material is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Important to know:

• Your data is not used to train Anthropic's AI models.
• Data is processed only to generate responses to your request and is not stored permanently by Anthropic.
• We only send the source material necessary for the specific request.

All data is stored with Supabase on servers within the EU. We use the following security measures:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
• Row Level Security (RLS): The database is configured with row-level security, meaning you only have access to your own data.
• Authentication: Secure login via Supabase Auth with encrypted sessions.

We only use necessary cookies to operate the service:

• Authentication cookie: Used to keep you logged in during your session.
• Language preference: Remembers your preferred language in the interface.

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.

We use the following third-party services to deliver the product:

• Supabase: Database, authentication and file storage (EU servers).
• Anthropic (Claude): AI analysis and content generation.
• Vercel: Hosting of the web application.
• Sports data APIs: Fetching statistics and results from public sports data providers.

Each third-party provider has been chosen with privacy and data security in mind.

As a user you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we have stored about you at any time.
• Rectification: You can update or correct your information via the app settings.
• Erasure: You can request that all your data be permanently deleted.
• Data portability: You can request your data exported in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: You can object to the processing of your personal data.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@livecaststudio.com. We respond within 30 days.

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account.

• When you request deletion, we perform a soft delete where data is deactivated immediately but kept for 30 days for possible recovery.
• After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
• You can undo the deletion within the 30-day period at any time.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a message in the app.
